What is Nature Babies Day?
Nature Babies Day is an invitation to connect to nature for a moment, hour or day to celebrate all that we receive from nature, express our gratitude, feel the love of returning to the wild and being present with how nature brings as home to ourselves through peace, calm, beauty and joy.
Babies thrive in nature and its the perfect sensory environment to calm, soothe and create delight and joy. Connecting babies to nature in the first 1001 days of life helps to harmonise babies with the wonder of the world and starts a respectful and honouring relationship from the beginning of life. As babies are able to know nature deeply, they can grow to honour nature creating a respectful and protective relationship.
Parents and carers can also benefit from the physical, emotional and mental benefits of spending time in nature, creating space and time to come out of the thoughts of the mind and into the power and presence of the heart.
