This training is for you if you feel called to work more closely with babies who have additional needs, and you wish to broaden your understanding of working with these babies and their families.
How the Training is Delivered
After payment, you will be sent your login details to access this training. This is a replay of an event hosted by a specialist in the field of Paediatric Occupational Therapy, who has years of experience working for the NHS and independently with neuro-diverse infants and young children, as well as children with complex medical conditions.
You can purchase this replay if you have a fully accredited 15 hours or more certificate in baby massage and yoga. It is open to Blossom & Berry students and also teachers who have trained with other training providers.
You will receive lifetime access to the recording of this training, tutor support as well as a certificate of completion after undertaking a self-reflective practice exercise.
This CPD training replay is hosted by Carly, a Specialist Occupational Therapist with years of experience of working with babies and young children with additional needs.
Carly is also a baby massage and baby yoga expert lecturer for Blossom & Berry, having studied with Blossom and Berry herself over 7 years ago, therefore is able to offer practical ways in which to best support and include these families.
Included in this training is a masterclass from Gayle Berry, international expert in baby massage and yoga and founder of Blossom & Berry.
Gayle trained with Tina Allen of Liddle Kidz to understand some of the complexities of additional babies and the challenges of bonding when there may have been a difficult start.
Gayle shares how parents can use touch to communicate love and encourage babies to feel attached. Baby massage is a powerful activity to help parents understand their babies needs and interpret their cues to aid early communication. Gayle will also be sharing the power of community to support parents and feel that they are fully seen and accepted.
